Kevin Amato currently lives in New York City where he works as both a commercial and fine art photographer. Over more than a decade of practice, Amato has diligently built an impressive body of personal images, working from his studio in the South Bronx.

 

His body of work represents a rich and authentic visual account of his life and loves: a quintessential New York diary that reflects the beauty Amato sees all around him.

 

A graduate of the School of Visual Arts, Amato’s work has been widely published in the U.S., Europe and Asia. He has contributed to Complex, The Contributing Editor, Dazed and Confused, Dust ,Flaunt, The Guardian, GQ, Interview, OUT, The Source, Spin, Tetu, Tokion, Vibe, and other publications.
